Thank you LA!
Pancho Villa's Army kicked off the summer on Memorial Day weekend with a massive invasion of Los Angeles! Over 800 Soldados made the trip from across the country. We gathered in a spirit of fraternity and camaraderie with our music, language, and food. PVA Los Angeles members were outstanding in their reception of the entire Army. They were fundamental in the set up of the tailgate, helping prepare over 800 lbs of meat. It was truly an amazing time.
In the stands the Army yelled for the entire 90 minutes, lead by PVA Reno's Capitan Pedro B. and his son! The two were dynamite for the entire game, being featured by multiple television outlets and news media. The featured blog photo was RT/Liked by Miguel Layun and the Mexican National Soccer Team.
In the end, the team did not win but the Army won in the stands and off the field! We started the summer right and many of us reconnected with old friends and made new ones!
